What Division to Register Your Child

Below are the standard age ranges for the levels offered at NSLL. You will not be allowed to register outside of the standard age groups. However, if your child desires to play up a level, we will provide the opportunity to showcase their skillset in a tryout with the Player Agent and coaches of the desired division. It should be noted that trying out for a higher division is not a guarantee of making it into that division. If your child is selected (T-Ball, Coach Pitch, or Single A) or drafted (AA, AAA, and Majors) to play a higher level, he/she will be transferred and any additional fees charged at that time.

Note: for Fall Ball, the President, Vice President, and Player Agent will evaluate all requests to be moved up as there is no tryout or draft.

Majors: League Age 11-12
- Note: 10's are eligible to play in Majors if they (1) register for AAA, (2) attend player evaluations / additional tryouts, and (3) are drafted into Majors. The number of 10's eligible to be drafted into Majors highly depends on enrollment numbers.
AAA: League Age 10-11
- Note: 9's are eligible to play in AAA if they (1) register for AA, (2) attend player evaluations / additional tryouts, and (3) are drafted into AAA. The number of 9's eligible to be drafted into AAA highly depends on enrollment numbers.
AA: League Age 9-10
- Note: 8's are eligible to play in AA if they (1) register for A, (2) attend player evaluations / additional tryouts, and (3) are drafted into AA. The number of 8's eligible to be drafted into AA highly depends on enrollment number
A: League Age 8-9
- Note: 7's are eligible to play in A if they (1) register for Coach Pitch, (2) attend player evaluations / additional tryouts, and (3) are selected into A. The number of 7's eligible to be selected into A highly depends on enrollment number
Rookie: League Age 6-8
- Note: Only 6's with baseball experience should register for Rookie. This would include Coach Pitch with another league or playing in another baseball organization.
Coach Pitch: League Age 5-7
- Note: Only 5's with baseball experience should register for Coach Pitch. This would include T-Ball with another league or playing in another baseball organization.
T-Ball: League Age 4-5
